The Vice President for Administration and Finance
Appointment and Accountability

The Vice President for Administration and Finance shall be appointed by the President of
the University and shall be accountable to the President.

 Powers and Duties
The Vice President for Administration and Finance shall have the following powers and duties:

1. gives advice and support to the President on administrative and financial matters;
2. advises and assists the President in the exercise of his/her powers and duties;
3.  monitors the overall administrative and financial affairs of the University;
4.  prepares the annual working plan and budget of the administrative and financial division and executes upon approval;
5.  ensures a capable system of service in all institutional, administrative, and financial affairs;
6. ensures that all institutional policies, working manuals, rules and regulations, and administrative schemes are to the benefits of the University and its community;
7. ensures that the Institution maintains a healthy balance of income and expenditure;
8.  ensures the registry of fixed assets, periodic inventory taking, and proper utilization and maintenance of the same;
9.  ensures that regular inventory of assets is conducted and periodic financial audit is made;
10.  ensures the prevalence of reliable professional security system and operative safety systems;
11. ensures that life and property on the premises of the University are well protected and maintained;
12.  secures the proper implementation of recruitment, employment, and termination procedure guidelines;
13.  ensures the proper administration of the property of the University;
14.  ensures the correct interpretation and implementation of financial instructions;
15.  serves as a member of the management committee of the University;
16.  submits periodic reports to the president as required;
17.  leads and coordinates all administrative departments and campuses (for administrative and financial affairs)
18.  conducts classes when assigned;
19.  chairs and takes part in different committees;
20.  performs such other duties as directed to him/her by the president and the senate.
