Applicants for admission to the BA/BSC degree in AdU must satisfy any of the admission criteria in each of the curricula (evident from the Curricula of AdU): However, no student shall apply if he/she does not have:
- Â After a successful completion of Grade 12 and/or preparatory program:
- As per the cut-off points set by Ministry of Education
- As per the senate legislation of the University.
- After Completion of Diploma (10+3 or 12+2) or TVET level IV in Related Fields
- Diploma (10+3 or 12+2) or TVET level IV certification from a recognized institute
- Â Certified with respective qualification by Center of Competency established by TVET Regional Bureau Labor and Skills.
- Possess two years’ work experience in his/her qualification diploma12+2, 10+3/level-IV.
- Pass examination for the entrance examination, prepared by the department(s)
- After having a First Degree:
- BA, BSc or above degree certification from recognized institution in any profession supported with official transcript.
- Â As per the admission criteria of the University.
- For Foreign Students:-
- BA, BSC and above degree certification from recognized institution in any profession.
- Certificates equivalence which meets the Ethiopian Ministry of Education standards, and approved and authenticated by ETA.
- For other type of certificates, certificates equivalence which meets the Ethiopian Ministry Education entrance standard, and approved and authenticated by ETA
- As per the admission criteria of the University.
- Student Transfer:-
- A transfer from a recognized University or University in the same field admission
- In Cases of High Competition for Admission;
- Grade 12 university entrance examination result and completion year;
- Â Grade point average at graduation;
- Â Additional training after graduation;
- Work experience and supporting letter from respective employer
- Gender and Disability
- Entrance examination result will be taken in to consideration in order to choose the candidate for admission.
